Driver/Personal Care Attendant, Yonkers, NY

Personal care attendant and driver needed for religious retirement home.

Transport and accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.

Work with care team to administer personal care to retired Catholic priests/brothers, including assistance with dressing, transport, meals and light cleaning. Work under supervision of nurse manager and house manager.

MUST HAVE valid NYS driver’s license.

Previous work in a nursing home or group home a plus.

Should be able to take initiative, juggle multiple responsibilities, and collaborate effectively with care team.

Some weekend work required.

Job Type: Full-time — 5 days a week, 4 weekdays and every other weekend.  

Pay: $23-$25/hour, depending on experience
