Live-in home aide needed Tarrytown, NY
Seeking caring live in home health aide for my mother- a 91 year old woman with Parkinson’s disease. She requires total assistance with all activities of daily living and her communication skills are limited, but she is alert and aware .
Candidate must have documented NY state HHA certification.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills including the ability to read her nonverbal language and communicate easily with family. Also need to be able to bend, lift and transfer her and complete dressing, feeding, bathing and toileting.
Other responsibilities include : Light housekeeping and meal preparation , medication prompts, provide companionship and help her engage in preferred activities.
Pay rate to be discussed based on experience and skill. Hours will be live in for partial weeks.
She lives in Tarrytown, NY in a private home. My sister and brother in law and a friendly dog also live on site.
$250-300/day based on experience.
