Assistant Project Manager – Drywall Construction

We’re a growing drywall contractor looking for an Assistant Project Manager to help manage commercial and/or residential drywall projects from start to finish. We need someone organized, dependable, and ready to grow with our company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with managing drywall projects, schedules, and crews
  • Coordinate materials, deliveries, and subcontractors
  • Communicate with clients, field supervisors, and vendors
  • Help prepare change orders, and project documentation
  • Track job progress and help keep projects on schedule and within budget
  • Attend job site meetings and perform site visits as needed

Requirements

  • Some construction project management experience preferred
  • Drywall or interior construction experience is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic knowledge of blueprints, takeoffs, and construction scheduling
  • experience with construction software is a plus

Compensation

  • $65,000 – $90,000 per year, based on experience
  • Opportunity for growth within the company
  • Paid time off and additional benefits available based on experience

Schedule

  • Full-time
  • Monday–Friday ( occasional weekends – will be compensated accordingly)

Location

Office is located in Yonkers, you will be required to attend a weekly meeting here. Work is based within the 5 boroughs, majority in NYC.
