Full time nanny needed Harrison, NY

We are looking for a full time nanny (guaranteed 50 hours a week, 8 AM-6 PM, M-F) in Harrison, NY for our children. We have a child in kindergarten (girl), a 3 year old (boy) in a half-day Pre-K program 5 days a week, and a 2 month old (boy). Any prospective candidate will only be responsible for the 2 older children until on/around Jan. 1, 2027 when they will be responsible for all 3.

 

Start Date: ASAP

 

Compensation: commensurate with experience, starting at $30/hour. Additional hours above and beyond the guaranteed 50 hours are available due to work schedules, social events, etc. 

 

Driving is required – we will provide a vehicle. Clean driving record is required.

 

General responsibilities include helping with children meal prep, travel to/from activities and playdates, doing children’s laundry, and general tidying of toys, etc. No house cleaning is expected or required. 

 

2 weeks paid vacation/sick time is provided on top of paid holidays (to be discussed).

 

Experience with infants and toddlers is preferred.

 

Paid trial time is included. 

 

Our kids are kind, social, and active, and have a great circle of other friends and nannies that spend a lot of time together, so any candidate would have a great social networking situation from Day 1. As parents we worked with our previous nanny for over 3.5 years before she went back to school for an advanced degree, so consistency is important to us. We view this relationship as a partnership and are keen to develop a new, long term relationship for years to come.
