We are looking for an Estimator / Project Manager to join our growing painting company in NYC.
The position will be responsible for estimating, bidding, and managing painting projects from initial site visit through completion. Responsibilities include takeoffs, pricing labor and materials, preparing proposals, coordinating manpower and materials, managing schedules and budgets, handling change orders, and communicating with General Contractors and clients.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in painting, construction estimating, or project management preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to read plans and understand construction scopes.
- Comfortable working with clients, GCs, vendors, and field crews.
- Experience with Bluebeam, Excel, Procore, or similar software is a plus.
We are also open to hiring a junior candidate who has a strong work ethic and wants to learn. Construction or painting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train and teach the right person the estimating and project management side of the business.
We are looking for someone motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and interested in growing with the company.
Competitive salary based on experience + bonus and benefits.
Salary Range – $75-$120k
