Light Housekeeping & Household Help for Senior Woman – Yonkers, NY
Location: North Broadway area, Yonkers, NY
Pay: $25–$30/hr. negotiable based on skills and experience
Seeking a reliable, trustworthy, and caring individual for light housekeeping and household assistance for a senior woman living in a high-rise residential development on North Broadway in Yonkers, New York.
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced with senior home cleaning, light housekeeping, or household assistance who is dependable, respectful, and comfortable helping with routine household tasks.
Include:
- Vacuuming floors and carpets
- Mopping floors
- Dusting furniture and surfaces
- Laundry and folding clothes
- General light household cleaning and tidying
- Moving or lifting moderately heavy/heavy items from shelves or other areas so surfaces can be cleaned
- Other occasional light household tasks as needed
Cleaning supplies can be provided upon request.
Ideal Candidate:
- Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
- Comfortable working in a senior’s home
- Experience with housekeeping, home cleaning, or household assistance preferred
- Able to safely lift and move household items when necessary
- Detail-oriented and respectful of the home and resident
- References and/or relevant experience are a plus
- Reliable transportation
Compensation
