Store Manager – $25-$30 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Operations & Experience
Manage daily operations across café service, floral retail, and workshop spaces.
Ensure consistently excellent customer experiences across all touchpoints.
Maintain high standards for cleanliness, safety, presentation, and service.
Oversee opening/closing procedures and shift scheduling.
Handle customer feedback with professionalism and warmth.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and motivate a multidisciplinary team (baristas, florists, workshop hosts).
Create a positive, collaborative culture rooted in creativity and hospitality.
Conduct performance reviews and ongoing coaching.
Build rotas that balance business needs with team wellbeing.
Commercial & Financial Performance
Manage budgets, daily sales reporting, and cost controls.
Optimize staffing, inventory, and supplier relationships.
Drive revenue across all areas, including seasonal offers and event programming.
Support pricing strategies and promotions in collaboration with ownership/marketing.
Workshops & Programming
Coordinate scheduling and logistics for workshops and events.
Work with instructors, artists, and partners to curate engaging experiences.
Ensure smooth execution of classes and private events.
Help develop new workshop concepts aligned with the brand.
Stock & Suppliers
Oversee ordering for coffee, floral supplies, retail products, and materials.
Maintain strong vendor relationships.
Track waste, freshness, and quality control.
Manage deliveries and storage.
Brand & Community
Act as the face of the shop on the floor.
Build relationships with regulars, local creatives, and partners.
Collaborate with marketing on in-store activations and campaigns.
Support social media moments and storytelling from daily operations.
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years experience in hospitality, retail, or multi-site operations (management level preferred).
Proven team-leadership experience.
Strong operational and organizational skills.
Commercial mindset with experience managing costs and driving revenue.
Passion for customer experience and community building.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
Experience with POS systems, scheduling tools, and inventory management.
Flexible availability, including weekends and events.
