In-Home Health Aide / Caregiver – Alzheimer’s & Diabetes Support
Seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to assist elderly grandparents in their home. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s and diabetes, with the patience and attentiveness to provide companionship and daily care.
Responsibilities:
– Provide assistance with living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
– Assist with meal prep ensuring meals are consistent with a diabetic diet.
– Provide medication reminders and assist with blood sugar checks.
– Observe and report changes in health, mood, or behavior.
– Support dementia care needs: maintaining routines, offering reminders, redirecting, etc
– Provide light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a safe home environment
– Monitor for safety concerns such as fall risks or wandering

Starting the week of October 20th, 2025.
Looking for coverage these hours. Happy to spilt the time/work between two people as well.

- Tue 10am-9pm
- Wed 10am-9pm
- Thu 10am-9pm
- Fri 10am-9pm
- Sat 10am-6pm
We’re looking for help with:
- Feeding
- Bathing / Dressing
- Companionship
- Meal Preparation
- Transportation
- Errands / Shopping
- Light Housekeeping
- Non smoker
- Has own transportation
- Experience with Alzheimer’s / Dementia
- Medications/Injections
- Comfortable with animals
$25-30/hr.
