Full-time estimator needed NYC
Job Description
Munster Drywall & Carpentry is looking for a highly motivated full-time estimator to join our company.
- Highly detailed and experienced with wood, glass, metal, stone, and other specialty materials
- Must have proven track record of estimating profitable and consistently successful projects
- Negotiate with and can engage effectively with vendors and clients, attend meetings with architects and project managers.
- Analyzes scope of work and take-offs, and other documents to determine the scope of work and materials required
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for projects
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam/ Planswift to assist in the estimation process
- Proficient with Microsoft office software (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
- Review contract bids
Qualifications:
At least 5 year’s experience as an Estimator in the construction industry (Millwork, Carpentry and Drywall)
Strong knowledge of construction estimating principles and techniques
Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam or On-Screen Takeoff programs
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $80,000.00- $100,000.00

- Monday to Friday

- Construction estimating: 5 years (Preferred)
