Home Health Aide Needed in NW Yonkers

Our family in NW Yonkers needs an experienced home health aide to join our team 3 days/week this summer to help Mom (86) & Dad (90).

(Our regular helper is going away for a few weeks, and we’ll need extra help now and then after she returns also.)

Schedule:

• 2-3 days/week (month of July ‘25; after that TBD)
• 9 AM to 6 PM (approx. 18–27 hrs./week)

Pay:

• $30 per hour

Requirements:

• Proven elder-care experience with references
• Dementia/Alzheimer’s care experience (preferred)
• Patient, trustworthy, team-oriented attitude

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist Mom with all daily tasks: mobility (walker/wheelchair), transfers, dressing,
• bathing, toileting, meals, and MOST IMPORTANTLY: KIND COMPANIONSHIP
• Minimal support for Dad – as He uses a walker, but dresses, feeds, bathes and uses bathroom himself, unassisted.

Secondary Responsibilities:

Day-to-day light cleaning, cooking & general household duties
