Drywall Estimator needed
The Estimator Position works closely with Project Managers to determine the costs associated
with completing the scope of work in a tender. This position is responsible for completing
quantity take-offs, preparing cost estimates, organizing bid bonds, communicating with sub
trades to determine the financial needs of completing a project.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing drawings and project specification manuals.
- Perform accurate take offs.
- Soliciting bids from subcontractors.
- Sourcing material and services, when required.
- Preparing timely formal estimates.
- Document and organize all backup information.
- Maintaining proposal logs.
- Prepare and track change orders.
- Attend bid leveling meetings and or review leveling sheets.
- Review contract purchase orders for accuracy.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in Microsoft office, excel & take off software required.
- Proven experience as estimator.
- Handle multiple projects at the same time.
- Meet deadlines.
- Well organized and possess a strong work regimen.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
Job Type: Full-time
Benefits: 401k & Health Insurance
Pay: Salary : $60k-$90k depending on experience.
Schedule: 40 Hours
Experience: 3 years+ (Preferred)
