Capture Technician needed, NYC

Position: Capture Technician
Location: New York, NY

Role Overview: Capture Technicians play a vital role in the construction process, providing
essential video footage that keeps construction and design teams informed about project
progress. They regularly visit job sites—weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly—and use a 360º camera
to create high-resolution virtual walkthroughs (similar to Google Maps Street View) of the entire
site. They work with cutting-edge technology partners including OpenSpace, Matterport,
Buildots, XYZ Reality, Trimble, Procore, and others.
Experience: no prior work experience in the construction industry is required. Prior work
experience, and/or a degree in construction/architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities:
● Check-in and communicate with site superintendent
● Walk the jobsite wearing a specialized hard hat, with a 360-camera attached to the top
● Upload capture data to cloud portal
● Daily check-ins with BIM/VDC Team Management
Hours: Part-time, 20-30 hours /week, with potential to grow to fulltime
Compensation: $20 /hr.
