Job Summary 
Wesbuilt Construction Managers is seeking an experienced Carpenter Foreman with commercial construction experience to lead and coordinate field carpentry crews across high-end interior and construction projects throughout NYC and the Tri-State area. 
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on carpentry expertise, and the ability to manage day-to-day field operations in fast-paced project environments. 
Responsibilities 
· Proficient in Procore software is a must. 
· Supervise and lead carpentry crews on commercial construction projects 
· Coordinate day-to-day field activities and manpower allocation 
· Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings 
· Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements 
· Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and other trades on-site 
· Oversee installation of framing, drywall, ceilings, doors, hardware, millwork, finishes, and specialty carpentry items 
· Monitor productivity and maintain efficient workflow on-site 
· Conduct quality control inspections and resolve field issues proactively 
· Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, NYC DOB Code and company safety policies 
· Assist with material planning, deliveries, and inventory coordination 
· Train, mentor, and develop field carpenters and junior crew members 
· Participate in project meetings and communicate field updates to management 
· Maintain organized and clean job sites 
· Identify and resolve construction conflicts in the field 
· Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and final inspections 
Professional Qualifications & Experience 
To perform this job successfully, an individual should meet the following minimum requirements and qualifications. 
· Previous experience as a Carpenter Foreman or Lead Carpenter required. 
· Previous experience as a Carpentry Foreman or Lead Carpenter required 
· Strong knowledge of commercial interiors, fit-outs, framing, drywall, ceilings, millwork, and finish carpentry 
· Experience working on hospitality, retail, corporate interiors, or high-end commercial projects preferred 
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications 
· Proven leadership and crew management experience 
· Strong understanding of OSHA and construction safety standards 
· Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple trades and project stakeholders 
· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills 
· NYC construction experience strongly preferred 
· SST 40 certification 
Computer Systems 
· Microsoft Office (Outlook), Procore Construction Management Software 
Hourly Rate: $40 gross/ hour
