Office Assistant needed for construction company in Brooklyn, NY
We are a busy Construction company located in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We
are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team. The professional we seek is
energetic, friendly, reliable and enthusiastic.
The responsibilities of the position include the following:
• Answer, screen, and transfer telephone calls & emails
• General clerical duties (photocopying, scanning, mailing, filing, stationary supplies)
• Assist team with organizational tasks
• Handle incoming mail and distribute
• Data entry & record keeping
• Credit card reconciliation
The qualifications we seek include the following:
• Strong professional presentation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
• Ability to work with computers (MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks) and other office machines
Required skills include:
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Ability to learn procedures and proprietary systems quickly
• Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and a well-defined work ethic
• Previous administrative work experience necessary
This is a full-time position, Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4.30 p.m.
Rate of pay: $52,000/year
