Job Description:

As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in assessing project requirements and providing accurate cost estimates for SOE, Foundation and Concrete Superstructure construction projects.

Responsibilities:

· Analyzing project specifications and blueprints to understand the scope of work.

· Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather necessary information.

· Conducting on-site visits to assess project conditions and potential challenges.

· Utilizing estimating software and tools to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.

· Researching and obtaining quotes from suppliers for materials and services.

· Evaluating labor and equipment costs based on project requirements.

· Presenting and explaining estimates to internal teams and clients.

· Keeping abreast of industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies.

· Participating in bid meetings and negotiations with clients.

· Other ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).

· Proven experience as an estimator in the concrete, demolition or environmental industry.

· 2-5 years’ experience preferred.

· Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods.

· Proficiency in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

· Effective communication and negotiation abilities.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating.

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience using construction software, Procore, Building connected etc.

$80-$100k depending on experience
