Home Health Aide Needed – Monday – Friday, Mamaroneck, NY

I’m looking for an experienced, kind, reliable home health aide who likes cats and is interested in helping care for my funny and sweet 91-year-old mom whose dad hailed from Dublin.

We’d like someone who is a non-smoker and certified as a personal care aide. Mom has some mild age-related dementia and uses a walker, while currently working on improving her lower mobility. Responsibilities include attentive supervision when she uses her walker, assisting with dressing, bathing, bedtime and bathroom routines, light cooking, laundry, and lending support to help mom practice her physical therapy exercises (in bed and chair) along with providing companionship with fun conversation and perusing The New York Times with her.

Home environment is friendly, quiet and supportive (with one kitty in residence) and appreciates a good sense of humor.

$32/hr with hours negotiable
