We are seeking a full-time Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll Assistant to join our team. This role
will oversee all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and related administrative
functions, ensuring smooth financial operations across Affect Group, supporting its’ affiliate companies
Affect Build, Affect Property, Make x Affect, and ABM Interiors.
Key Responsibilities:
• All aspects of Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable, which includes collection.
• Preparation of Estimates/Invoices for Contractors/Customers in Sage, Innergy and Procore.
• Bid Management Assistance and Pre-Qual Bid Returns.
• Responsible for the preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Sales Tax Reports and payments.
• Management of customer/contractor jobs.
• AIA billing.
• Preparation of written communication to customers/clients/professional contacts.
• Management/Onboarding of new hires to include preparation of documentation for new hires.
• Management of employee records to include changes in pay, status, and benefits of all
employees.
• Management of medical, dental/vision plans.
• Purchasing of office supplies/equipment.
• Reporting of weekly and bi-weekly payroll.
• Certified payroll reporting as required.
• Procure General Liability and Workers Comp certificates from subcontractors.
• Submit Certificates of Insurance to customers/contractors.
• Management of trade licenses and scheduling of continuing education classes.
• Provide administrative support to all active projects including mobilizations packs, health and
safety records and close out packs.
• Prepare/conduct annual workman’s comp and liability audits.
• Submit claim forms for workman’s comp and disability to insurance companies.
• Monthly P&Ls on all live projects and at the company level in conjunction with the Accountant.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum of 3+ years of proven experience in AR/AP and Payroll (construction industry preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.
• Experience with Sage, ADP, Procore, QuickBooks, Innergy.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and banking processes.
• Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to effectively multitask, prioritize, and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: Salary $42,000.00 – $60,000.00 annually, based on experience
