Position: Head Chef / Kitchen Leader
We are seeking a passionate, skilled, and creative Chef to lead our kitchen and help
shape a menu that balances elevated pub fare with comfort food classics. This is a
unique opportunity to put your stamp on a new local favorite from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
• Design and execute a consistent, high-quality menu that aligns with The Tavern’s
brand and vibe
• Lead all kitchen operations, including prep, line execution, food safety, inventory, and
ordering
• Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure high performance and team culture
• Collaborate on seasonal specials and event-based menu offerings
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure compliance with all health codes and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
• 4+ years of experience as a chef or kitchen leader in a fast-paced, full-service
restaurant
• Strong knowledge of American comfort food, pub-style dishes, and modern casual
dining
• Ability to manage food costs and control inventory
• Leadership skills with a hands-on, lead-by-example approach
• Creativity, reliability, and a genuine passion for great food and hospitality
• ServSafe Certification (or ability to obtain)

Salary range is $60,000. – $75,000.
