Assistant Project Manager needed Yonkers based Drywall/Carpentry Company

Job title:

Yonkers based Drywall/Carpentry company looking for full time Assistant Project Manager.  Work will be based in the office and on site in NYC & surrounding areas.

Job Description:

The Assistant project manager will work closely with our team to ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate day to day project activities.

Assist with scheduling, budgeting & cost tracking.

Communicate with vendors, subcontractors & clients.

Prepare & maintain project documentations including Safety, RFI’s, submittals & change orders.

Conduct site visits.

Help with delivery of materials.

Attend & document project meetings.

Willingness to travel to various job sites.

Qualifications for assistant project manager:

Degree in a construction related technical or management

0-3 years of experience in construction or similar role.

Proficient in excel, Procore, and similar construction software preferred.
