Nurse’s Aide/Medical Transporter

Part time/One day per week with potential for additional hours

Up to $25 per hour depending on experience

Start Date: After May 1st

Sisters of St. Francis of Peace seeks a caring, compassionate person to safely transport seniors from Marian Woods in Hartsdale to local medical appointments, (15 mile radius) accompany seniors into medical appointments, take notes at appointments, and complete all paperwork.

You will work in cooperation with the Health Care Coordinator for the delivery of health-related services specifically related to medical appointments.

We are looking for a good communicator and collaborator who can work with a wide range of personalities, who possesses good time management skills and can follow a calendar.

Must be able to stand, lift rollators/walkers, and assist seniors safety in and out of the vehicle.

Experience with senior population is preferred.

Must have clean, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with current registration and insurance.

Milage/tolls will be reimbursed at Federal rate.
