Sales Assistant needed in Harrison, NY

JOB TITLE: Sales Assistant

SUMMARY:

The Sales Assistant is responsible for initiating, coordinating, and executing sales, returns, and organizational support functions. This role ensures smooth operations within the sales department, maintaining high levels of professionalism and efficiency.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Receive, enter, process, and follow up on sales orders.

Maintain and administer current dealer accounts.

Manage URC dealer portal validation and approvals.

Answer and handle telephone calls, taking accurate messages.

Handle sales-related inquiries efficiently.

Compose, type, and distribute professional correspondence, emails, and faxes independently and as assigned.

Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to filing, photocopying, faxing, and mailing.

Proactively establish and maintain an organized filing system for correspondence and records.

Maintain accurate records and handle confidential and sensitive issues professionally.

Assist with special projects as assigned.

Serve as backup for returns processing and other duties assigned by sales representatives or management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent; 1-3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams.

Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow efficiently.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.

Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment and make timely, sound decisions.

Creative, flexible, and innovative team player.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within teams and committees.

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to adapt to evolving priorities with enthusiasm.

Pay: From $50,000.00 to $55,000 per year depending on experience

SCHEDULE: 8-hour shift Monday to Friday

SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: Bonus pay
