Purchasing Manager, Full Time, Based in Westchester $70k++
Exciting opportunity for a professional with excellent communication skills to join a successful supply company in Westchester. The role will involve the procurement of industry related items best suited to meeting the needs of customers. Inventory management, and record stock levels daily. Create and review purchase requisitions. Negotiate with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule. Prepare purchase orders and expedite delivery of goods to yards and/or customers. Conduct business in a professional and ethical manner and must be able to maintain positive vendor relationships.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (preferred)
- Two years + experience in similar role
- Self-starter attitude and if you drive, it is also an advantage.
- Applicants must have US citizenship or Green Card.
