Weekend Home Care Aide Needed (Saturday & Sunday, 11 AM – 6 PM)
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and compassionate caregiver to assist a lovely elderly couple in their home. This is an ongoing, weekend position with consistent weekly hours.
Hours & Schedule:
- Days: Every Saturday & Sunday
- Time: 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Status: Part-time, ongoing
- Area: Woodlawn, near the park
Key Responsibilities:
- Meal Prep & Nutrition: Prepare brunch and dinner daily, adhering strictly to provided dietary restrictions.
- Health & Wellness: Monitor daily liquid intake/hydration and ensure medication is taken on schedule.
- Light Housekeeping: Load/empty the dishwasher, make beds, take care of general light cleaning, and bring the trash/recycling out to the curb on Sunday.
- Companionship: Maintain a warm, attentive environment and take initiative to keep the home safe and orderly.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Working smartphone for daily check-ins and communication.
- Prior experience in elder care or home health assistance.
- Proactive, observant, and dependable with excellent references.
Pay: $28 / hour
