Construction Project Manager | FJB Contracting, Yonkers
We’re a busy, high-end residential contractor, 35+ years in NYC, mostly kitchens and baths. We’re a small team. You’ll know everyone’s name by the end of your first week, and the owner picks up his own phone. We need a Project Manager who can run jobs from first scope to final punch list.
You’d handle the estimating, the schedule, the subs, the budget, and the paperwork: pricing jobs and change orders, client and subcontractor contracts, building approvals, DOB permits, and insurance certs. You know how a job runs and what has to happen next, and you get on with it without waiting to be asked. You’ll work closely with the owner and keep him in the loop, but you’re the one driving the job.
You’d be a good fit if you have:

At least 3 years managing residential renovation projects, ideally with a smaller GC

Experience doing take-offs and estimates from drawings and specs

Hands-on experience with permits, approvals, and getting a job off the ground

A solid feel for sequencing and trades

Comfortable answering the phone, responding to emails, ordering materials, and keeping job files current

The details

$35–50/hour, depending on experience

Full-time, 7am to 4pm, office-based in Yonkers

We use Xero (we’ll train you), Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and Acrobat

Must be authorized to work in the US. We’re not able to sponsor visas.
