Looking for a Warm, Caring Companion for My Mother in Yonkers

My mother is in her 90’s, alert, mobile, and full of personality — a former ice skating coach who still loves talking about the sport and the skaters she’s worked with over the years. She’s better with company, and we’re looking to add a kind, patient caregiver to her team to give her more companionship and support, alongside her current caregiver. We’re flexible with days and hours because what matters most to us is finding the right person.

When we need help:

• Sundays (this is our one must-have day, but the hours are flexible)
• Weekday mornings — happy to work around your schedule, whether that’s all five days or just a few

What she’d love from you:

• Someone to talk with, laugh with, and maybe hear a few skating stories
• A gentle hand with bathing and personal care
• Simple, home-cooked meals and snacks
• Someone who’ll keep us in the loop when needed

What we’re hoping to find in you:

• A patient, dependable, trustworthy person
• Reliable transportation
• Three people who can speak to your character and care

Pay: $30/hour based on experience
