Kara Ann Gallagher

Please support Kara Ann Gallagher as she runs in the 2023 New York Marathon. Kara has dual citizenship with Ireland as both of her parents were born in Co. Donegal. She just graduated undergrad and will be working as a technician in a Physical Therapy Clinic in Manhattan. She was an avid runner in high school and started again last year. Kara plays camogie with the Liberty Gaels in New York. It has always been a dream of Kara’s to run a marathon and entered her name to the lottery for a spot. She chose to represent the AICC in the marathon to show appreciation for all of the support the AICC has offered for everyone coming over and helping them adjust. This will be Kara’s first marathon as she has run two half marathons to date. Go n-Éirí an Bóthar Leat, Kara!
