Job Title: Full-Time Live-In Caregiver / Household Support Location: Whitestone, Queens, NY Schedule: Full-time, live-in position (room and board provided) Compensation: Paid through agency + private supplement (rate discussed at interview)

Overview: Our family is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and responsible live-in caregiver and housekeeper to provide comprehensive care and support to our father and sister in our home in Whitestone, Queens. The ideal candidate is patient, reliable, and capable of managing both personal needs and all general household responsibilities to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment – helping keep the household running smoothly and offering steady support and companionship.

Core caregiving responsibilities:

· Personal care assistance: Provide respectful and compassionate help with all activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

· Medication management: Offer reminders and oversight to ensure medications are taken on time and communicate with family or healthcare providers about any issues.

· Companionship: Provide emotional support, engage in meaningful conversation, and participate in hobbies or social activities to prevent isolation and enhance the client’s quality of life.

· Mobility assistance: Help with safe transfers and movement around the home, assisting with walkers, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids.

· Communicate: Regularly with the family and care team.

Full household responsibilities:

· Meal management: Prepare meals tailored to the client’s dietary needs and preferences . This includes grocery and kitchen cleanup.

· Laundry and linen care: Wash, dry, fold, and put away all clothing and bedding. Change bed linens weekly or as needed.

· General cleaning: Perform all daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks to maintain a tidy, organized, and hygienic home. This includes vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing bathrooms and kitchen areas.

· Household organization: Keep all living spaces neat and orderly.

Qualifications:

· Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

· Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or older adults preferred but not required.

· Demonstrates a compassionate and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.

· Strong communication skills and ability to follow household routines.

· Reliable transportation.

· Ability to pass a background check and provide professional references.

· Willingness to register with a New York State agency for formal payroll.

· CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

· Non-smokers only.

Compensation:

· Paid through a New York State-approved agency

· Additional cash supplement provided
