Irish Culture Internship
Position Overview: As part of a dynamic team, you will be instrumental in supporting the growth and
development of a wide variety of classes and programs and events that promote Irish Culture, and introduce
new cultures to people of all ages in a community setting.

 Research methods to record the life stories of seniors in our community, in a manner that respects their needs
and ensures they feel appreciated
 Develop a framework for preserving senior stories based on your research
 Research and generate ideas for monthly cultural events
 Help Coordinate cultural sessions and workshops
 Contribute to the 2024 Celtic Summer Camp for elementary school age children with culturally appropriate
activities, including games, arts and crafts, sports, and theater.
 Support event planning, production and reporting
Social Media Management:
 Contribute content for inclusion on various social media channels, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
 Monitor social media platforms for trends and engagement opportunities.

 Study or experience with Irish culture including: literature, folklore, language, traditional music and dance, film
are highly desirable
 Interest in exploring applications and methodologies that preserve the past experiences in user friendly and
digestible manner highly desirable
 Patience and adaptability in working with diverse age groups including children and seniors
 Strong organizational skills
 Self-starter with a proactive and positive attitude.
 Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
 Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

 US Work authorization
 Completion of 1 year of undergraduate studies on Irish Heritage and Culture
 In office hours up to 16 hours per week.
