Certified Alarm Tech Systems Incorporated (CATS Inc.) is a firm in Bronx, New York, that designs, develops, implements, and maintains security systems for commercial and residential establishments. Burglary and fire safety systems are our specialties. We have installed systems for hospitals, schools, community centers, pharmaceutical companies, private and public housings, and more. What you will do:

In this role, you will install, maintain, service and test commercial security OR fire alarm systems:

  • Installation and service of security & fire alarm systems
  • Installation and service of IP & analog CCTV systems
  • Installation and service of Bosch/Radionics alarm panels
  • Install and service addressable and nonaddressable fire alarm system
  • Knowledge of UL system installation
  • Panasonic digital/IP business phones installation & programming
  • Installation and service of intercom
  • Install and program card access
  • Repair and maintain electronic systems as needed
  • Comprehensive knowledge of commercial and residential wiring
  • Performs regular inspections to identify defects and replacements
  • Performs system testing to evaluate performance and functionality
  • Maintains inventory control of electronic components and tools

Requirements:

  • Clean Driver’s License
  • Must be able to lift tools and equipment, climb ladders, pull wire, etc.
  • Must be willing to work in the 5 Boroughs and New Jersey & Connecticut on occasion
  • The ability to follow direction and always maintain a great positive attitude
  • The ability to retain knowledge/information
  • Must be punctual and have good attendance
  • Clean Appearance
  • Highly reliable and punctual
  • Great work ethics
  • Awesome Customer Service
  • Ability to solve problems and come up with creative solutions
  • Fire alarm knowledge is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Junior technician Salary(0-3years experience): $18.00 to 23.00 /hour

Senior technician Salary(5+ years): $30.00 to $37.00/hour
